Julie Seymour retired from teaching after 32 years of working with elementary and middle school students, with 20 of those years acting in the capacity of Gifted Specialist. She also has been the Senior Manager of Education at EarthX, an environmental non-profit.  Julie has a Masters in Secondary and Higher Education from Texas A&M Commerce and a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa.

Ms. Seymour currently is a consultant, presenting teacher trainings and writing curriculum, with an emphasis in gifted learners.

English Language Arts Curriculum Guide Published as Companion to Very Able Ms. Mable novel!

The ELAR Curriculum Guide for Very Able, Ms. Mable is now available to aid young readers as they take on this challenging read. Student activities have been written in four areas of development:

  • Vocabulary,
  • Reading Comprehension,
  • Affective Exploration, and
  • Written Expression.

Lessons are found in two sections: Teacher Information and Student Handouts, and can be used in their entirety as a unit of study or as stand-alones as needed by the students.
