About the Author

Jessica Kagan is a historian-turned-engineer-turned writer—well, as of 2019 she's still an engineer, but she can dream. She grew up in Massachusetts before moving around the United States, eventually landing back in her native state. When not slinging computer code or working on her writing career, she records and releases music ("metaltronica", for marketing purposes) under the name "Planepacked".
