Jeannie
Fredrick’s parents encouraged her to read by allowing her to stay up past
bedtime, albeit reading in bed. She was hooked. Her first favorites were Nancy
Drew and the Boxcar Children and then later found author Lawrence
Sanders and quickly fell in love with his characters, the stodgy Edward X.
Delaney and playboy Archy McNally.
At
one point while reading, she had an epiphany. “I can write books too,” she
thought. And the idea was planted in her little brain. It took several more
years of life experience and writing practice to develop an idea where she
could help others.
She
has been published in Grit, Florida Retirement Lifestyles, Daytona News
Journal, Palatka Daily News and was the publisher at the Crescent City Courier
Journal.
Jeannie
grew up in Craig, Colorado and currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida.
