J. D. Simmons, a wannabe author for most of her adult life never dreamed her first book would be about her own life and long marriage. From an early age, J.D. desired to become a teacher and spent a lengthy career as an educator. She is passionate about spending time with her family, working in her yard, running, and training for a tenth half-marathon. J.D. resides in South Carolina where you can find her sipping on a margarita and dreaming of going to the beach with her partner.
