J. Dawson Williams is a first-generation college graduate credentialed as a Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC),
and Board Certified Coach (BCC). He cites Ethical Resilience as the cornerstone of his 30+ years of experience in Coaching, Counseling, and Consulting. Dawson served a four-year Active Duty tour working in United States Navy Telecommunications and finished his Military retirement as an Army Chaplain. A Combat Veteran, he received the United States Legion of Merit Award in retiring from Army Chaplaincy at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Having served as an Adjunct Humanities Instructor for multiple college level programs, Dawson also retired from Department of the Army Civilian (DAC) service as a Program Manager addressing Resilience, Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention.
