Janice Mulholland spent the last twenty years of her career as a teacher librarian in the highly acclaimed Palo Alto elementary schools, primarily at Lucille M. Nixon Elementary School. In this unique position, she was able to meet every child in the school at least weekly in class, if not more often, as the library became the hub of the school, not just for students, but also for teachers and parents. The arrival of the new books she selected for the library was a big event, but the best was the Annual Book Swap she started that was held just before summer vacation, guaranteeing everyone great summer reading.
She lives in beautiful Portola Valley with her husband. They have an adult son.
