Jake Angelo V. Ilagan is a U.S. Army leader, doctoral scholar, and published author. Born and raised in the Philippines, he immigrated to the United States in 2001 and has since built a career centered on service, leadership, and continuous growth.

Jake earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master of Science in Leadership with an emphasis in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Grand Canyon University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration. His academic and professional path reflects a deep commitment to leadership, public service, and lifelong learning.

As an author, Jake writes across genres, blending imagination, culture, and storytelling in ways that resonate with diverse audiences. He is the author of The Dracula Files: Blood Echoes and Raven and the Gentle Guardians, a children’s book that presents Filipino folklore in a warm, meaningful, and accessible way for young readers.
