Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jacque earned her degrees from the University of Houston and holds an MS in Publishing and MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Houston -Victoria (now Texas A&M). Her debut book, Blue Forks and Red Knives is her first poetry collection. Her career enthusiasm thrives in creative writing, communications, and business management, a career change from healthcare administration. Poetry, short stories, and essays take center stage with her eclectic writing style inspired by her love for the arts and science.
