Jackie Scott Bell, is a professional school counselor and social skills coach. She earned a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development from George Mason University, where she also studied multicultural counseling and social justice. She has served as a mentor for new counselors and has educated hundreds of students in the areas of social/emotional learning, academic development and career readiness. She is the author of "Diversity is You and Me." Her latest book is entitled "Bullyanna," in which she received the 2021 NABJ Outstanding Book Award. She resides in Northern Virginia with her family.
