Ingrid Deringer was born in Saskatchewan Canada and has lived on the East Coast, West Coast and everywhere in between. She holds a BA in Psychology and MA in Women’s Studies and is also an Acupuncturist and Wedding Celebrant.  She has worked in the health and wellness field for over 25 years. Now semi-retired, she loves to hang out with her grandchildren and spend winters in warm climates where she can write to her heart’s content with her feet in the sand.  

Her first Children's book, Shall We Dance is story about the love between Grandma Ging Ging and her Grandson Rio that will make you laugh and tug at your heartstrings as you witness the bond they develop over the years. The book is dedicated to her own mother who taught her and her seven siblings to dance and to her brother who is the best dancer in the family and her daughter, the mother of Rio.
