April Dawn Reese is a self-declared spiritual sojourner and devotional writer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Design and a Master of Counseling degree. After working as an Interior Designer in New York State, she moved to Maryland's rural Eastern Shore to marry her childhood sweetheart and raise a family. Along the way, inspired through her work as a Sunday school teacher and youth leader, April pursued a second career in educational counseling. When her first grandchild arrived, she retired to spend more time with family and to explore her personal passions, including spirituality, photography, and writing. April is currently working on her third photographic devotional in the Embracing God series.
