ERNIE JAMES PARIS (EJ)MUSICIAN, PRODUCER, SONGWRITER
Raised in San Jose, CA., lived in Philomath, OR, Los Angeles, CA and Meridian, ID. I am a multi instrumentalist who performs live and records in the studio. My latest project involved a collaboration of session musicians who recorded on my song featured in the music book I have written. I play and record a variety of styles of music.
Musician with the Coasters, Darrell Mansfield Band, PBS John Denver tribute with the New Christy Minstrels, Pearl Brick, Frank Castentte band. Produced and recorded music for Pat Boone, Freda Payne, Ambrosia, David Crosby (Bing Crosby's Grandson. Produced music with Motown artist Mike Durio. I enjoy playing different styles of music. My employment at The Grammys opened the door to many fun music projects that involved producing, recording, performing music live and music charity.
Worked in production for The Grammys 51st & 52nd awards and the Grammys MusiCares charities honoring Sir Paul McCartney and other honorees to raise funds to assist musicians in need. MusiCares helped me in the past and it is a very rewarding experience to be involved by giving back charity to others through music.
In 2022, I wrote my 1st music book, Jump Start Guitar - Arrangement method for songwriters using ABABCB.
I really like getting other musicians to record in person or remotely on my music projects and sitting in with bands.
