Harold Nwariaku is a seasoned Sales, Project Management, and Procurement/Supply Chain professional with over 20 years experience with Procter and Gamble, the Diageo Group, and MTN Nigeria. Through his own job search experience and recruiting and interviewing over 100 candidates within his career growth in blue-chip corporate organizations, he has developed a passion for Human Capital Development, and a need to prepare undergraduates and young professionals adequately for the job market. He intends to "Bridge the Gap" between what universities teach, and what corporate organizations seek. In 2016, he organized a series of workshops themed "Bridge the Gap" series. These free Skills Development Workshops were held monthly throughout the year with topics such as like "A Cv that gets you a Job," "Interviewing for success" (including actual role plays and a recruiter present to evaluate), "Communication Skills," "Interpersonal Skills," "Sales Skills that Win," "Doing Business with Big Companies," "Managing your Boss," "Surviving Office Politics," etc. These workshops were well attended with actual testimonies of individuals who got employed, and had their relationships enhanced with their superiors. there was also a hands-on CV enrichment session during which he made direct input into individual's CVs and provided advice. He is a DDI certified Master Trainer, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, UK, and also a graduate of the Cranfield School of Management, UK. Harold is a lover of motorsports, rides a motorcycle, and loves to participate in intellectual conversations. He is married to Olamide, and has 4 children, Chinwe, Ikechukwu, Nwabueze, and Nneoma.
