Olivia Landis was born into a devoutly Catholic family in New York. Her father, an internationally known scientist, was considering the priesthood before meeting and marrying her mother. Meanwhile, her mother and maternal grandparents instilled a heavy tone of mysticism and superstition in the household. Olivia was raised to have an examining mind, encouraged to reconcile faith, dogma, and scientific discovery without neglecting or denying any of them.
Olivia is a psychiatrist, wife and mother of two living in Southern Virginia. She has many hobbies including music, costume design, and fencing.
