This career choice allowed him to see the world, with tours in S. Korea, Germany, Italy, and serving four combat tours. Giving him the opportunity to serve at some of the best military assignments available. Just to mention a few... The Pentagon, Whitehouse Communications and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organiza- tion). However, his biggest challenge to date was yet to come; in 2011 W. L. White III was diagnosed with stage three Colorectal Cancer. The recently married soldier had to fight the biggest battle of his life.
