Alisa and her husband live near Cody, Wyoming with their horses, dogs and abundant wildlife. Located not far from the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park, the areas spectacular landscapes, natural wonders and abundant wildlife have provided a wonderful understanding of life, nature and how truly connected we all are with each other and the world in which we live.
Alisa is a woman of many talents and in addition to having worked in the public school system, she is an accomplished artist and jeweler. "Featherless" is her first published book but will likely not be her last. She hopes Featherless brings smiles, joy and understanding to all children, just as it did for her son.
