Milford was born September 1st, 1929 in Lake Charles, Louisiana was
graduated in 1952 with a business degree from Southwestern Louisiana Institute,
then served two years as a first Lieutenant in the Air Force, during the Korean
intervention. He practiced public accounting for forty years as a CPA and began
writing poetry before he retired twenty-five years ago. Having lived in Lake
Charles, Louisiana most of his life, he uses life there as a background for his
poetry. My main interest are music, writing, reading, golf, spending time in the mountains and on the beach.
