Evaughn High born to be on the stage, was born in the rural South in a small town called Stuttgart, Arkansas. Evaughn laughs because most people that read or hear the word Stuttgart wonders if she was born in Germany. Her parents now deceased were sharecroppers and reared 8 other children together.
In 1972 Evaughn moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her mother and siblings. It was in Milwaukee where Evaugh’s talent began to really blossom under the mentorship of Arlene Skierarski at North Division High School.
In 1977, Evaughn received a full scholarship to Carroll College to study Theater. This opened up many opportunities. She has spent her entire life on the stage in some fashion or another.
Evaughn High has a Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Business Management, and also a Certificate in Sales and Marketing. Evaughn attended film school for three years at the Art Institute in Milwaukee but later transferred to Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) where she received an Associates Degree in Television and Video Production in December 2018.
Evaughn High is a pastor’s wife, speaker, author, prophetic psalmist. She is a director, playwright, entrepreneur, wife, and mother. Behind her engaging smile, is a woman of great faith, strength and ability. Evaughn has four CD’s to her credit and hopes to work on a fifth offering, a Praise and Worship project, that will speak to the world on what happens in true worship. She has been honored to perform for Bishop T.D. Jakes, Bobby Jones Gospel, and other pastoral greats such as Dr. Anthony D. Burns Ministries, and Bishop Darryl Hines.
Bold, vivacious, talented, and anointed are just a few words that describe Pastor Evaughn. Her straightforward, no-nonsense manner has garnered the attention of renowned preacher and television host, Dr. Paula White, who invited Pastor Evaughn to minister at her church, Without Walls International Church in Jacksonville, FL.
She is self-employed as a Certified Sisterlocks Consultant. She has two beautiful daughters and one grand-daughter. Evaughn a producer, writer and director of film|television is presently working on a documentary on Surrogacy, Jazz while lending her talent to 21 Keyz’s as a producer with great anticipation of a beautiful project. Presently Evaughn is working on a feature film entitled "Who's That Dancing'?.
