Hey all! Thanks for checking out my profile. I'm a 23 year-old, independent author from Oakdale, California. I love literary realism and character driven stories, which if you read my book, you will probably be able to tell! I finished my first novel, The Orchard's Offspring, in 2014, and got around to publishing it in 2018. The book was greatly inspired by my upbringing in California's Central Valley, the agricultural hub of the country.
Additionally, I love filmmaking and am the co-owner of Platinum Peek Productions, a media agency that specializes in video production. People have always said my writing reminds them of a movie because they're able to really visualize what's transpiring. This is because when I write, I visualize what's taking place as if it were on the big screen. I would consider my writing to be very similar to a more in depth screenplay.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and am currently obtaining my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I consider myself to be a life-long student of history as well, primarily history of the American West.
