About the Author

Ellen Allen has loved reading ever since she was tiny and discovered Enid Blyton in a corner of her classroom - The Magic Faraway Tree, anyone?

She is author of contemporary thrillers, The Sham and The Button, a keen wild swimmer (whatever the weather), an avid reader and she also likes to collect quotes, articles, tips etc. on how to write, submit & publish really good fiction (www.ellenallen.co).

She lives in the south of France with her daughter and would, one day, like to be able to master the French subjunctive.
