First-time children's book author Elizabeth Williams loves walking, especially in forests near lakes and oceans. Originally from Toronto, Elizabeth has lived under the redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains for many years and is a resident of the Pacific Northwest. Her first book is inspired by the wonder and beauty of nature in her walks at one of her favorite places, the family cottage by Lake Simcoe in Ontario, Canada.
