I am a southern Gentleman, a Scientist, a Leader, and an Innovator. I love STEM and in particular Science. My love for it started while I was growing up, I realized I love discovery. As a result of discovery being a by-product of Science, it impacts so many aspects of life such as medicine, education, government, food, body products, plants, and the human body. Because of its deep connections to life, I enjoy connecting things to Science, teaching about it, writing about it, and hearing about it. I taught college chemistry courses at a community college, I published some of my work in scientific articles, and I have a few patents. Science is my life!
I have experience in working in the homecare and personal care sector where my focus was innovation in beauty and cleaning products (lotions, hand cremes, shampoos, anti-bacterial cleaning solutions and natural products). Currently, I am a Program Leader at a Albemarle Corporation (a chemical company) where I manage all Oilfield programs and projects for the business. I love my team because we work together to keep our customer's first, while keeping chemical discovery first. My goal is to improve and increase new product developments for the business which will increase the innovation pipeline. Outside of that, I love crossfit because it keeps me in the learning process of new techniques and exercises. Lastly, I am a family man and I love my rib, (my wife, she is my rock).
