Donnie Nicole Belcher is a lifelong educator who operates at the intersection of education, marketing and community. She taught in Chicago Public Schools for 12 years, co-founded Art of Culture, Inc. (Formerly Donda's House) a nonprofit which supported young creatives through engaging professional artists and Camp Equity, a virtual social justice camp. Through her consulting firm Work With Donnie, she provides strategic communications and program development support to clients including Virgin Hotels North America and the University of Minnesota.
She was named one of Ebony Magazine's Ebony Power 100 Honorees in 2016, New York University's Hip Hop Education Center's Courage Award winner, and Michael Jordan's mother selected her as a Deloris Jordan Excellence in Community Leadership Honoree. Donnie currently serves as the Executive Director of Communications and Engagement for Minneapolis Public Schools.
