Dave is Director of Strategic Counsel to Pastors and Church Boards at Generis. He brings a unique perspective as he has experience from both the church world and the business world.
He earned a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.S. in Management from Georgia Tech. He also did a short course at the Harvard Business School in Strategic Perspectives for Nonprofit Management. He has extensive knowledge working with
various churches and pastors from all over the country through Leadership Network.
He helps leaders and churches craft their “What’s Next” plan
for personal and organizational flourishing. Dave specializes in guiding ministries as they transition to more fruitful next seasons. Whether it’s figuring out the specific story God is writing for your church, developing a succession plan, spring boarding your staff to their unique purpose, or launching additional sites to your church; Dave comes alongside to listen, pray, challenge, and guide leaders and their teams.
Dave’s biggest interests are reading and southern folk art collecting. He is married to Lynne and they have two adult daughters.
