Colleen Stone, artist and illustrator, is happiest with her hands in wet paint, her feet on a trail through the forest, or visiting with the birds in her garden. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, nature is her constant inspiration. She dreams of a world where people are kind, animals can talk, and trees live forever. This is her first book.
