Cassandra Rendon first learned to crochet when she was 8, initially copying the chevron stitch blankets she saw her mother and grandmother whip up. In 2009 she saw her first amigurumi pattern online and it was all downhill from there!
In 2017, after shuttling through a series of stressful, unsatisfying jobs (and with the unflinching support of her husband) she opted to quit the status quo and pursue her passions: her Creative Writing degree from the University of California, Riverside, her more than 20 years of experience with crochet, her extremely amateur love of photography.
These days Cassandra lives in sun-soaked Lake Forest, California with her husband, Carlos, and their problem-child of a calico cat, Fiona.
