Carol Alwood grew up surrounded by the patter of raindrops on maple leaves in the green haven of Bellingham, Washington. She writes young adult Christian fiction in which characters struggle with pain-filled backstories. Carol won the 2016 Orange County Christian Writers’ book proposal contest and was a semi-finalist for ACFW’s Genesis contest in 2019. She has a Master of Education with an emphasis on literacy and spends her days delving into books, writing with children and teens, and teaching at writing conferences.
