The Author is a native of Pittsburgh. He is a retired Captain from the United States Navy after 26 years active and reserve, He is also a retired Senior Vice President from banking after 32 years. He has traveled extensively around the world and speaks several languages. He us a an undergraduate from Miami University in Oxford Ohio and with a masters from the University of Chicago. He has two daughters in the US and UK and is currently living in Kapolei Hawaii.
