Bridges Washington is committed to building bridges. These bridges aren't the ones that we may drive upon on a daily basis, although he has contributed to the design of those in a previous life. The bridges he aims to help build are those between the generations.
While I am not a doctor, lawyer, accountant, psychiatrist, nor theologian, I have had to contend with caring for and the passing of three generations of family. All of those elders who died did so of natural causes over the past twenty years starting from my early twenties. While I stated that I am no "expert" on any single facet regarding end-of-life care, I do have more first-hand experience handling the whole picture for more generations than most will or should ever have.
