Otto Lehrack is a retired US Marine Corps infantry officer and author of four non-fiction books about Marines at war, a book on politics and another on his ocean sailing adventures. He spent five years aboard his boat, exploring the South Pacific and has a Master's Degree in the history of Russo-Japanese relations from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. This is his first novel.
