Barry Boyd Bryson has a long background of historical research from prehistoric times to the modern day. He has also been a technician, an engineer, and a manager. His studies of the past have included the Sumerians, Incas, Aztecs, Mayans, Olmecs, Visigoths, Ostrogoths, Chinese, Romans, Greeks, Vikings, Mongolians, the World Wars, the Great Depression, and the black plague among others. He began this novel in cooperation with his son.
This novel originated from a page-and-a-half story created by his son Zachariah at the age of twelve. They worked together to develop the storyline in this and future novels.
