About the Author

Author Info

Andy Seven has written for music magazines and is a veteran of the original Hollywood punk scene where he played with countless bands. His experiences in the original Hollywood punk scene are documented in Brendan Mullen’s memoir We Got The Neutron Bomb and in the Germs biography, Lexicon Devil.

Seven's writing employs roman noir/pulp fiction elements with a strong Fifties Beat influence to create a new genre of hard-boiled writing, punk noir. His novels Every Good Boy Dies First and Every Bitch For Himself are prime examples of his hard-as-nails crime fiction.

Audio books of his poetry can be bought on Bandcamp, and Sea Level Drive is his most current release, available in CD or download format.

Mr. Seven lives in Hollywood and is the author of the weekly blog Out Demons Out, which is now in its fourteenth year. His poetry can be read in the anthologies Will To Flutter and Horror Sleaze Trash Quarterly.
