She is known for her ability to weave tales that capture the hearts of young readers. Born in Kansas and having lived across the United States, Berkowitz's diverse experiences enrich her storytelling, bringing a unique blend of creativity and relatability to her work. Since beginning her writing journey in 2018, she has dedicated herself to fostering a love for reading and imagination in children. Residing in Las Vegas, Berkowitz’s writing is not just a career but a passion project aimed at keeping the wonderment of childhood alive. Her first children's book, "Ladybug Kisses - Besos De Mariquita", laid the foundation for her enchanting style, which continues to shine in her acclaimed "Gigglet the Happy Little Piglet" and "The Magical Farm Mysteries" series. With a heart full of wonder and a talent for storytelling that feels both timeless and fresh, she crafts stories that don't just entertain, they resonate.

A.M. Berkowitz is celebrating the release of her newest picture book, "Gigglet and Wigglet's Alphabet Hop!", the latest joyful tale in the Gigglet the Happy Little Piglet series. She’s also celebrating the recent publication of her very first children’s chapter book, "The Magical Farm Mysteries: Bubble Gum Rocks", now available!


Recently, A.M. Berkowitz was tickled pink to be honored with Book of the Year by Creative Child Magazine for "Gigglet The Happy Little Piglet Goes to School". She has been featured on the cover of numerous magazines, including the cover of the prestigious Reader’s House Magazine, and honored with the Editor’s Choice Award for Literary Excellence. She’s also proud (and a little wiggly with excitement) to be named Top 5 Authors in 2025 by Outstanding Creator Awards!


When she’s not writing stories filled with giggles, magic, and heart, she’s busy planning visits to elementary schools and children's hospitals with her new mascot characters Gigglet and Wigglet! She is growing her new company, AMB Kids Books—designing plush dolls, building her shop, and dreaming up even more stories to share. With every page, A.M. hopes to bring a little more joy, wonder, and piggy-sized happiness into the world.
