Alyssa
Jeanne Feagin began reading books and writing fiction from an early age. Yet
books were not the only creative inspiration for her. A.J.’s
grandmother taught her how to play the piano at age five and she took
up the flute as a second instrument at age eleven. She also played in
the Wittenberg Wind Ensemble in college.
Despite
a great passion and interest in the performing arts, A.J. took up a
more practical study in college. She majored in Chemistry at
Wittenberg University and worked as a research chemist. Then she obtained a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of
Wisconsin, and for over fifteen
years worked as a pharmacist.
But
her heart and imagination has always looked to the stars where the
possibility of other civilizations and worlds—like ours—could
exist. This is what inspired her to write her first novel series. Visit her website at: www.ajfeagin.com
