My name is Andre Dupret, and I am a writer, tennis coach, and school psychology graduate student.
In terms of my writing credentials, I graduated from the Honors Writing Program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2015. While there, I also won two campus writing awards: 1st place in the Honors category (2014) and 2nd place in the fiction category (2015). Oh, and did I mention that I won the Pulitzer prize last year? Did I also mention that I'm delusional?
Then there's my tennis coaching career. I am blessed to work with a wide range of different ages and ability levels, and view my role as a coach as an opportunity to make a difference in my students' lives. I am currently employed at Franklin Athletic Club, as well as serve as the Head Varsity Coach at North Farmington High School! Pretty good considering I have no idea how to play the game of tennis. Will someone teach me?
Finally, I am excited to say that I have just started my school psychology graduate studies! I am attending the University of Detroit Mercy. Having undergone obstacles in my own childhood, I am grateful for the opportunity to help kids academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.
I really hope that you enjoy Creative Tennis Tales, and share it with your kids and friends!
