Having managed client assets through the most volatile and challenging financial markets in modern history, Charles McLean has gained a unique perspective on managing wealth. Charles began his career with Morgan Keegan, a regional firm based out of Memphis, TN. Before starting his own firm, SouthTrust Advisors, Charles was a business owner/manager with Wachovia Securities Financial Network.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Charles spent time in law enforcement, graduated from Louisiana Tech University, and started, grew, then sold a successful sauce manufacturing business that offered retail products in grocery chains such as Winn-Dixie, Brookshire's, Alberson's, and Kroger.
Charles and his wife Melissa celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on May 14th, 2018. Together they have a daughter, Logan, and two sons, Trevor and Quin.
