William Pitman has lived an exciting life filled with accomplishments. After graduating from Texas A&M University, he was commissioned as a US Army Field Artillery officer and served in Germany during the Vietnam War as a nuclear security officer and commander of the 8” Howitzer delivery platform. Upon returning to the U.S., he earned his CPA certification and, by age 30, became the Chief Financial Officer of the largest privately owned homebuilding company in America. He later founded his own successful homebuilding business, constructing thousands of homes and over a million square feet of rental properties.
In partnership with Japan's largest automaker, William helped them learn the U.S. method of land development and homebuilding, a collaboration that lasted over five years. He is a Life Director of his local Homebuilders Association, the Texas Association of Builders, and the National Association of Homebuilders.
Beyond homebuilding, William has owned many businesses, including an interior design studio, an antiquarian book business, and an international laptop case manufacturing company. His ventures extended to oilfield safety, restaurants, and pecan farming. He has also served on the boards of national banks, a title insurance company, and an international hospital equipment manufacturer.
His travels have taken him across the U.S., Europe, and Asia for business and pleasure. William has built products internationally and developed a deep connection to Hawaii, where he owns property in Maui. He is also a talented ukulele player, performing for Wounded Warriors and local civic groups. Fluent in English, with conversational skills in Spanish and German, William continues to explore new opportunities and adventures.
