Whitney Warfield was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For years Whitney has been fascinated with psychology and behavioral studies and received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University and Masters of Science in Psychology from Walden University. Along with her interest in African & African American Studies, she wanted to create an outlet to help those in her community express and prepare themselves for healing through therapy. For years, Whitney has worked in the Behavioral Health insurance industry and witnessed how high health care expenses can often deter those from seeking treatment. She created a therapy journal to help others find a safe place where they can be open and honest with themselves and hopefully reach a place to seek guidance under professional services. In Black & Goals Therapy Journal & Planner, Whitney explores how lack of self confidence, motivation and direction often lead to fears and discouragement from goal achievement. It is her ultimate goal that her series of therapy journals help women and men find their passion and work towards their goals and block thoughts the have negative impacts on their drive and determination.
