Tony V. Bunion Jr. is a native of Havana, Florida and has lived in Jacksonville, Florida since 2012. Since 2012, Tony has been the Health and Physical Education teacher for Wayman Academy of the Arts. Besides being an educator, he’s a Coach, a Motivational speaker, a Mentor, and very involved with the young adults at his church, Wayman Temple. His upbringing and life experiences have led him to be very passionate about the youth in our community. Tony received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at Florida A&M University. He’s currently studying to become a certified personal trainer; as well as, preparing to head back to school for his Master’s Degree. He’s married to Dr. Whitney G. Bunion and they have two wonderful kids, Marcus & Maya.
