Tom Garry has earned his living as a writer for almost half a century. His career has encompassed working as a reporter and editor on local newspapers, editing trade magazines and medical journals, serving as president of a medical communications company that he co-founded, and writing about topics ranging from politics and religion to money laundering and cancer.
Garry earned a bachelor's degree in international relations and a master's degree in political science from American Military University and a master's degree in economics from the University of London.
He and his wife, Sandy, are the parents of three grown children. They live in New Jersey.
