Teri Pizza has authored several books and is a former columnist and speaker. DNA: Do Not Assume is her fifth book. It is the fascinating true story of a daughter's search to unravel her mother's hidden lies and in the process discovering God, love, and a family she never knew. This book could have never been written if it wasn't for Teri's Aunt Laurette and her beautiful cousin, Lynne Merrill. (Teri met these two beautiful women in 2017 and they instantly became family and friends forever!)
Her Thyme to Eat books: “Simplicity of Fresh Produce,” and “Enjoy Recipes for Fresh Produce” help cooks derive the most from their fruits and vegetables by saving more, wasting less, and eating better. As one reviewer said, “They are a must for every kitchen.”
Teri credits her book, “COPD: Eat to Breathe Plan to Feeling Better,” and a fabulous team of medical professionals for her ability to live a viable life while battling Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Her inspirational books include “My Prayer Journal” and the anthology, “The Joy of Growing Old with God” which gave birth to her writing career.
Teri has, at one time or another, called OH, IN, IL, VA, D.C., TN and FL “home.” In addition to writing, she enjoys fine dining, reading, and sitting with her husband, John, on their balcony, overlooking the Florida Intracoastal way and toasting to beautiful sunsets.
