I felt that the issues of being bullied at school aren't discussed enough with our children. I wrote Nikcademus Tell's to help bring awareness of what our kids face when attending school. The book was also written to help encourage the parents to pay attention and to ask your kids questions when you notice behavior changing, and facial expressions tells a lot about how a person is feeling. I'm a firm believer in being completely honest with my children. I am from the south side of Chicago and lived in Indiana from a teenager to adulthood. When I was a young girl, I also experienced being bullied and being made fun of. Even as an adult people have made fun of my dreams for my life, but I fused to let that stop me from trying because I know dreams can come true. I've had many people enter my life for encouragement and that's what helped me refuse to give up. I
