Steve is presently retired and lives in Beavercreek Ohio and is married for over 40 years to Mary (Garvey) Guilfoos. They have two sons. Brian is married and is the Director of Client Services at the Ohio State Super Computing Laboratory. Todd is married and is a Research Professor in Environmental Economics at University of Rhode Island. After serving for more than 38 years as a civilian in the United States Air Force, Steve retired in 2009. He was certified as a Civil Service Professional in Program Management, Acquisition Logistics, and in Engineering. After high school, Steve earned a BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in Dec 1970 from the Ohio State University. He was a member in Texnikoi Honorary, Triangle Fraternity (Social), and served as a member of the College of Engineering Publications Board. Steve had also earned his MS in Logistics Management in Sep 1982 from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He was a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon Honorary. Steve is an active volunteer at a local hospital and is an avid golfer. He is also a poetry writer and he shares his poetry monthly with a private e-mail distribution list. He hopes to publish his poetry in a series of anthology booklets in the upcoming years. Steve is a Life Member of the Ohio State University Alumni Association since 1971, as well as a member of the local tOSU Greene County Alumni Association.  His hobbies include photography, golf, travel, and poetry writing.
