Doshe Healing Arts founder Sis. Nau~T is an Edutainer, Martial Artist, focusing on alternatives to violence and pathways to peace. A student of African Culture and Sciences she has worked to empower her community using Art and Philosophy as tools for liberation for over 30 years.
Doshe Healing Arts was founded to promote a holistic wellness approach to self defense and to address issues that create social dis-ease throughout our communities. Doshe Healing Arts seeks to create and nurture relationships that foster supportive, courageous communities where Black Women and Girls and QTPOC, can live without the fear of violence.
A Veteran of the United States Air Force, Direct Service Provider and Jegna. From shelters to jails and classrooms to campgrounds, Sis. Nau~T has a solid foundation in grassroots community building, program development, coordination, and management with a strong commitment to roots, culture and liberation.
Sis. Nau~T has studied music and martial arts for over 40 years, is a recognized and respected drummer and emcee, and is certified in Tai Chi & Qi Gong Instruction, Women’s Fitness Program Development and Domestic Violence Counseling. Bringing the experience of these disciplines together in a unique practice for self defense and healing, Sis. Nau~T provides informative, interactive, comprehensive ways to address violence in a world starving for harmony.
