Pastor Sharon A. Amey is a published writer from the US Virgin Islands who serves as the Visionary and Executive Director for Unique Xpression Ministries, Inc. She is an effective communicator and "bridge-builder" with a hands-on approach with over 30 years of experience collaborating with community leaders, government officials, and private and public nonprofit organizations.
Pastor Sharon embraces a growth mindset with a strategic approach by leading, empowering, and managing a talented team of site-based leaders, community partners, and staff to address and support learning retention and personal development for Virgin Islands youth. In addition, she has hosted several in-person and virtual professional development conferences and empowerment training sessions for youth and young adults.
She penned her first book of positive affirmations, Pretty Girl, to empower young girls to develop confidence by carefully choosing their spoken words.
Her passion is empowering youth and young adults to develop a healthy self-image for their lives, becoming tomorrow's leaders and change agents leading to a better society.
