Scrap University Kids is a passionate team of three individuals who share a common goal of making the planet a better place for future generations. Shaziya 🍎🏫, an elementary school teacher with 15 years of experience, knows how important it is to teach kids at a young age about sustainability and environmental responsibility. Brad 🧲♻️, with over 40 years of experience in the metal recycling industry, is an expert in the field and knows the value of recycling metal. Jessica 🤿🐙, a scuba diver in Seattle, WA, is an advocate for ocean conservation and brings awareness of the impact of waste on our oceans and planet.
Together, they are Scrap U Kids, an educational initiative focused on eliminating metal waste from landfills within 30 years. They teach kids that all metals have value and that recycling them can even earn them some cash. ♻️🥫🔌🧲=💰So don't throw away those old wires, USB chargers, holiday lights, tin foil, or cans - bring them to your local scrap yard instead! They believe in making metal recycling fun and easy for kids while also raising awareness of the importance of sustainability.
