Scott Jarrett interviewed over 25 Ten Cent Beer Night eyewitnesses (including the late, great famed drummer, John Adams) and conducted extensive research of the infamous promotion-gone-wrong of June 4, 1974. He also thoroughly studied beer and dimes. In addition to Ten Cent Beer Night, he is the author/poet of Traffickwocky, a collection of Austin Traffic Poetry. He is a middle school journalism teacher, a proud graduate of Kenyon College, and lives with his family of ballplayers in Austin, Texas.
