Sam's work career spanned over 50 years and culminated as President/CEO of a privately held manufacturer of medical devices in Sarasota, Fl. Prior to that, he was Managing Partner in an international leadership advisory firm headquartered in St. Paul, MN. The early part of his career was spent in the food industry advancing through numerous functions such as R&D, Operations and Quality Assurance.
Since his retirement in 2013, Sam enjoys running on the beach every other day at low tide and chasing a golf ball around Cocoa Beach Country Club while putting the finishing touches on his first novel.
He earned a BS (Biology & Chemistry) from Indiana State University and an MBA (Macro-Economics) from the University of St. Thomas.
