Author Info

Shannon has an interest in history and both fictional and real life mysteries.  During the Covid-19 epidemic, he began to explore the many formal and informal resources for the Zodiac case.  Previously, he had focused on just a few websites.  Shannon was amazed at the information available.  Many key points, both in books and in discussions, had not made it into the core narrative.  He also found the research and experiences of Sandy Betts to be integral to understanding the case.  It did take many weeks of exploring the claims of Sandy Betts to determine that harassment and attacks fit with the known information about Zodiac.  Shannon hopes that this book will spur law enforcement to revisit Zodiac and to examine many ideas and crimes which have effectively been ignored.  One of the most important ideas, suggested by Robert Graysmith in 1986, is that Zodiac continued to kill after October 1969.  As information on Zodiac has grown, this appears to be the correct and tragic scenario.

Shannon is a software developer.  He has lived and worked in Asia.  He enjoys fictional mysteries as well as non-fiction accounts of the Pacific War.  He is fascinated by the critical analysis of the New Testament.
