Rosa Scarborough is a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and works at Horse and Buddy in New Hill, NC. She lives in Chapel Hill, NC with her family who get to listen to all of the stories from the barn each week! In addition to being an instructor, Rosa coordinates the Silver Saddles program at Horse and Buddy bringing the senior community to the barn and also travels with Finn to senior living facilities to visit the residents. This is her first children's book and even though she has never aspired to be an author this story popped into her head one day as she was observing the herd and felt the story should be told.
